Michael Diamond
President
Our founder, Michael Diamond has 20-plus years in the home building industry. He holds both Florida Contractor and Florida Real Estate Broker licenses as well as a B.A. from Colgate University. To ensure the highest quality outcomes for every client, he personally maintains strong connections to top architects, designers and subcontractors. At home, Mike spends his private time with his wife Nina and their three children.

Jeffrey Benham
Vice President
Jeffrey Benham is co-owner of Diamond Custom Homes as well as its head of financial operations. With over 10 years of experience in the luxury custom home market, Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and a Florida Real Estate License. Formerly, he served as both a CFO and senior financial advisor to several prominent companies and met Mike while working as the director of sales and as a former CFO for another luxury home builder. When he’s not focused on Diamond’s trade partners, clients and project objectives, Jeff spends time with his wife and daughter.

Chris Batchelor
Vice President of Operations
Chris Batchelor is a seasoned construction industry executive with more than 30 years of residential and commercial experience. As Vice President of Operations, he oversees all construction operations, including new construction, remodeling, warranty service, estate management, and cabinetry division. He is a state-certified general contractor in Florida and Tennessee, and studied business administration at Arizona State University. He enjoys the outdoors, sports, traveling, and spending time with family.

Greg Hawkins
Field Operations
With over 30 years of management experience in the construction industry, Greg joined the Diamond Custom Homes family as project manager. He then advanced into the role of field operations where he is the liaison between superintendents and project management personnel ensuring all field related issues are resolved in a timely manner. Greg will establish and maintain the Diamond Custom Homes standards and quality control. As well as assisting sales in estimating and developing scope of work on remodeling projects. Greg is so passionate about his job he can be found remodeling his own home in his free time. When he isn’t wielding a hammer, Greg loves spending time with family and friends.

Deborah Maxner
Project Coordinator
A New Hampshire native, Deborah earned an interior design certification from the University of New Hampshire, and a real estate sales associate license from the State of Florida. Involved in the construction and interior design industries for 30 years, she was the owner of Interior Reflections, a business that sold custom window treatments, upholstered furniture and interior accessories for residential clients.

Chris Schneider
Job Superintendent
Chris Schneider brings 23 years of construction industry experience to Diamond. As job superintendent, he is responsible for on-site coordination for all phases of building projects, and coordinating all subcontractors, materials and equipment. Chris ensures specifications are strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. He is DOT (Department of Transportation) and OSHA safety certified. A third generation construction industry veteran, Chris began his homebuilding career in Cleveland as a carpenter focusing on remodeling homes. In 2000, he relocated to Southwest Florida and built homes for actress Sharon Stone and AC/DC singer Cliff Williams. Today, Chris and his family live in Estero.

Manny Oliveira
Job Superintendent
Emanuel Oliveira, whom we know as Manny, brings nearly three decades of expertise in the homebuilding industry. Prior to moving to Florida in 2014, he was owner of his own homebuilding company in New England. OSHA-certified, Manny manages construction and renovation processes and has extensive knowledge of framing, finishing, custom woodwork and master carpentry. When he’s not overseeing projects and teams for Diamond Custom Homes, he enjoys engaging in woodworking projects at home, playing pool and spending time with his family.

Anthony Marzella
Warranty Manager
Anthony Marzella has been in the construction industry since he was 14 and brings almost 30 years of experience to Diamond. As warranty manager, he is responsible for all customer service needs when a new home is completed as well as coordinates all customizations or corrections of any issues. He is OSHA safety certified and has taken a wide array of construction courses. Anthony also has extensive historical home restoration experience, previously working for celebrities like Garth Brooks, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Allen Jackson. In his spare time, he renovates his own home with his wife, fishes and does craft-oriented activities with his three children.

John Bill
Job Superintendent
John Bill, our superintendent, brings over 22 years of experience in construction supervision and onsite construction management. He skillfully schedules, monitors and inspects all work from start to finish. Previously, John served as superintendent for a custom homebuilder, overseeing subcontractors and all activities onsite. A Florida-licensed building contractor, he stays current through ongoing professional development courses. Early in his career, John spent 15 years in operations at Publix. We’re happy he makes homebuilding a pleasure with us.

Jerry Lake
Job Superintendent
Jerry joined Diamond Custom Homes as superintendent with an impressive background in construction. He is responsible for supervising job sites, overseeing vendors and keeping everyone on track from start to finish. Before home building, Jerry was a country club maintenance supervisor, cabinet maker and he even ran a door and window shop in northern Florida. He is proud of his family including a wife, four children, five grandkids and two dogs. Jerry loves bowling and keeping his colleagues in stitches with his wonderful sense of humor.

Sean Rhodes
Job Superintendent
Sean Rhodes grew up in the construction industry with his father also working in construction. Sean graduated with an associate in drafting and design and started his professional career as a tradesman in remodeling. His range of industry experience including new home construction, remodeling, roofing, and cabinetry design makes him a perfect fit as job superintendent. As a Job Superintendent, Sean oversees job sites, works closely with trade partners and ensures the construction schedule stays on track. In his free time Sean is spending time with his two children.

Karen Velasco-Carter
Architectural Coordinator
As Architectural Coordinator, Karen Velasco-Carter plays a vital role in the Diamond Custom Homes process, working closely with clients to articulate their ideas. She is responsible for the coordination between architectural drawings and the interior design drawings for all new construction, as well as the permitting of drawings for remodels. Karen has been in the industry for 15 years, with her previous experience as an architectural designer for two prominent design studios. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from San Buenaventura University, is an AIA associate and a certified general contractor. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, tennis and dancing.

Zachary Monger
Sales Representative
Zachary Monger started his career in real estate after earning his bachelor’s degree in marketing from West Chester University outside of Philadelphia. Since then, he represented several luxury builders in Southwest Florida before ultimately joining Diamond Custom Homes in 2017. As a full-time licensed Realtor since 2009, Zachary wears several hats at Diamond. His primary responsibility is to keep our latest model home open 6 days a week, creating new client relationships and pointing out the Diamond difference to touring customers. He also markets Diamond’s remodel capabilities to customers and Realtors, as well as identifies potential land acquisitions for both Diamond and outside vendors. In his free time, Zachary enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s on the beach or playing golf at Quail West.

Mark Imbert
Project Manager
Mark Imbert started his career in the custom home building industry eight years ago in the Naples area, making his mark where he was born and raised. A state certified general contractor and project manager for Diamond, he collaborates directly with clients and works with superintendents to see projects through to completion. In his free time, Mark loves traveling, enjoying the great outdoors with his wife and dog, playing guitar and building high-performance PCs.

Mia Kapica
Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development Mia Kapica is responsible for developing business plans for sales and market penetration. This includes cultivating relationships with architects, interior designers, home inspectors and other construction and real estate related businesses. Mia’s goal is to create referral sources with trade partners to drive more business to Diamond Custom Homes. All while introducing our Building Dreams Foundation and creating awareness to raise funds for our mission to support affordable housing and education within our community.

Jacob Weiss
Director of Construction
A Florida-certified general contractor and graduate of University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management, Jacob Weiss joins our leadership team As Director of Construction. Jacob will lead our construction and project management teams; establishing standards for quality and delivering homes according to the standards; evaluating alternative construction methods for cost efficiency and much more. Jacob is an experienced leader who is uniquely qualified to manage our construction division.

Francisco Morales
Director of Estate Management
Originally from New York City, Francisco Morales moved to Florida in 2002 and brings over 15 years of remodeling industry experience to Diamond. As director of estate management, he is responsible for taking care of all customer service needs when a new home is in its final stages. This includes meeting with the homeowner and coordinating customizations or corrections of any issues, as well as managing partners and vendors. When he’s not working on home sites, he likes to go fishing, play sports and spend time with his family.

Melissa Marotti
Accounting
Originally from Chicago, Melissa brings a well-rounded skill set to her role in accounting. Her past experience includes several executive administrative, estate management and interior design positions. In addition to keeping our numbers accurate, she oversees office duties as well as client and vendor relations. Melissa previously worked as a private investigator and vacationed in Naples for more than 20 years before relocating to Florida in 2010.

Kasey Nelson
Assistant Superintendent
Kasey learned of the strong culture at Diamond Custom Homes and was eager to be part of the company’s bright future. He joined us as an assistant superintendent and oversees job sites with confidence. Kasey’s professional career has taken several interesting turns, from corporate sales for the NHL Florida Panthers to human capital management consultant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in sports management from McDaniel College. Kasey loves his goldendoodle Kona, fishing and spending the day at the beach.

Arturo Mosqueda Matos
Assistant Superintendent
As an assistant superintendent Arturo is responsible for overseeing job sites during construction. He helps manage subcontractor and vendor relations ensuring construction moves forward smoothly and on time.

Sydney Vermette
Marketing Manager
As Marketing Manager, Sydney ensures our marketing goals are met through budget oversight, developing marketing strategies, and implementing marketing plans. Her experience includes serving as marketing manager for a full-service residential and commercial real estate developer, and as an account executive with a Ft. Myers-based advertising agency. In her free time, Sydney enjoys being on the water with her husband and two great danes.

Abel Mosqueda Pena
Service Technician
As a service technician, Abel is responsible for small jobs including repairs, lighting electric, plumbing and more. Abel plays a vital role in our estate management division with his attention to detail and ability to work quickly without compromising quality.

Jose Zacatelco Tepale
Warranty Manager
Jose brings a variety of experience to Diamond Custom Homes making him perfect for this role. As warranty manager, Jose is responsible for taking care of all customer service needs including meeting with the homeowner and coordinating customizations or corrections of any issues.

Anjeza Elezi
Controller
Anjeza brings over seven years of expertise in financial operations to Diamond. She’s served both high-end custom home builders and commercial developers. Anjeza is responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, supervising all accounting and financial functions, establishing and implementing financial policies, performing risk assessments and preparing annual budgets and forecasts. As a leader of the accounting team, she will closely monitor the company’s financial health; maintain, manage and analyze financial statements, payroll, budgets, and more.

Jerry Koncz
Purchasing Manager
Jerry was born with construction in his blood. His grandfather and father were electricians, great uncle a woodworker and his brothers drywall finishers. Jerry started in the drywall business as a teenager making $2 an hour. Not only was he born into the construction industry, but he also brings over 40 years of experience along with him. Including field, purchasing, estimating, sales, drafting and manufacturing. To say he’s perfect for his role is an understatement! As purchasing manager Jerry manages budgets, bidding, buyouts, vendor recruitment and scopes of work. When he’s not working, you will find Jerry woodworking, playing golf and enjoying time with friends and family.

Thomas Smith
Construction Laborer
As a construction laborer, Thomas provides a hands-on approach to his responsibilities, managing on-site coordination of all phases of building projects, as well as subcontractors, materials, and equipment. He ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. When Thomas is not on a Diamond Custom Homes jobsite, you will find him fishing with friends and family.
