Diamond Custom Homes Adds Dolly Smith as Controller

Dolly Smith has joined Naples luxury homebuilder Diamond Custom Homes as controller today announced president Michael Diamond.

As company controller, Smith is responsible for direct supervision of all accounting and financial functions. Her primary responsibilities are focused upon managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, ensuring budgets remain on track, and overseeing all communications with outside vendors. She is also responsible for maximizing return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

Born and raised in New Port Richey, FL, Smith moved to Naples in 2008. Before beginning her career in finance, she worked for a Florida disaster relief company in Florida. After that, she returned to college and earned a degree in accounting from Hodges University. Smith also holds all of the educational and work-study requirements to sit for the CPA Exam, and a Community Association Manager’s (CAM) license in the State of Florida.
