NAPLES, Fla. (February 3, 2026) — Diamond Custom Homes has completed construction of a newly designed residence at 405 Putter Point Drive in Naples’ The Moorings neighborhood. The project replaced an older ranch-style home that was cleared for redevelopment in late December 2023 to make way for a modern coastal estate.

The two-story residence offers 5,045 square feet under air and 7,475 square feet total, with five bedrooms, five full baths and two half-baths. The home was designed by Karen Velasco-Carter, Director of Architectural Services at Diamond Custom Homes, with interior design by EDGE™ and landscape architecture by Outside Productions International.

“This property has been transformed into a contemporary coastal estate that feels open, connected to the environment and grounded in quality materials,” said Michael Diamond, president of Diamond Custom Homes. “Every detail was carefully considered to create a residence that feels both relaxed and refined, with strong architectural lines and a true relationship to its surroundings.”

Designed with indoor–outdoor living at the forefront, the home features an open floor plan anchored by a dramatic two-story foyer and a floating staircase. The layout flows into a spacious great room, dining area, gourmet kitchen, bar and wine room, all of which open fully to a covered outdoor living area, pool bath, summer kitchen, sun deck, spa and fire pit.

Custom millwork by EDGE™  is featured throughout the residence, including in the kitchen, bar, primary bath, morning bar, utility rooms, powder bath, guest baths and a custom entertainment built-in in the great room. A signature design element is the use of natural cane and rattan inserts within the cabinetry, a material long favored in Europe but still relatively new to the Southwest Florida market. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, rattan was selected for its sustainability as a rapidly renewable material with a lighter environmental footprint than traditional hardwoods.

The interior design reflects a light, airy coastal aesthetic with light-stained white oak finishes, quartzite countertops, stone porcelain tile and neutral tones accented by soft steel blue and gray. Custom details include sliding cabinetry doors in the great room, mirror paneling in the primary bathroom and island cabinetry designed to discreetly conceal outlets for a streamlined look.

The first-floor primary suite includes separate walk-in closets, vanities and water closets, along with linen storage, a makeup vanity and dresser area. Four additional guest bedrooms are located on the second level, along with a covered terrace and second-floor laundry.

Exterior highlights include a metal roof, glass-panel garage doors and stone cladding used on both the exterior and interior to add texture and contrast. The home includes a three-car garage, with a driveway and entry designed with integrated grass inlays to create a softer, landscaped arrival.

Developed as a spec home, the project takes advantage of prime real estate and a rare opportunity in one of Naples’ most established and sought after communities.
